Bend-La Pine

April 2026

A parent coalition had been asking since 2024. After a petition with more than 1,000 signatures, the board passed Resolution 2013, calling for grade-level technology standards, removal of apps without evidence behind them, and consideration of performance-based vendor contracts. The district says it is continuing a shift in K-5 from one iPad per student to classroom sets that stay at school.

How this data works

Gathered by parents, checked before it's published.

Each fact comes from a public record, a district document or a news report. Parents send us leads, and we publish a fact only after we find a source for it. Every fact shows its status and links to its source. When a district record confirms something first reported in the news, we change its status to Verified. Each profile shows the date it was last updated.
