We connect low-screen families across Oregon, share honest research on how screens affect children, and help parents bring hands-on, human-centered learning back to our schools.

Our school positionGuiding principles
We say what research shows and what it doesn't. Every summary in our library names the kind of study and how strong the evidence is. When a study only shows a link, we call it a link.
Every family's situation is different. We offer options and support, not judgment. Screens show up differently in every home, and we share what has helped other families so you can decide what fits yours.
Accommodations are essential, full stop. AAC devices, assistive technology, and IEP and 504 accommodations sit outside our advocacy, and every template we share protects them.
Change happens district by district. This community is run by volunteer parents, and school conversations start with families in one district talking with their own school board.
What we are and aren't
Run by volunteer parents across Oregon.
We state the strength of every finding and link the original study.
Regional groups and district-by-district work, starting close to home.
Kids should learn computer skills. We want technology taught as a subject.
Every home is different, and there is no single right answer.
We share research and ideas. The people who know your child best come first.
Get involved
Join a local group, help run one, or bring the conversation to your school district.
AAC devices, assistive technology, and accommodations under IEPs and 504 plans are essential tools. They are outside the scope of our advocacy.
